Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, is bisected by the Vltava River. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires,” it's known for its Old Town Square, the heart of its historic core, with colourful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show. Completed in 1402, pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints.

Prague also hosts the Czech Beer Festival (Český pivní festival), which is the biggest beer festival in the Czech Republic, held for 17 days every year in May. At the festival, more than 70 brands of Czech beer can be tasted.

You can surely rest in Prague :) I decided to surprise my girlfriend and invited her to Prague for a cup of coffee. Last time I was in Prague - I remember - I was with m school friends and it was my first visit abroad. I wanted to share this old nice impressions with Rūta.

We booked a cosy hotel in the old town, thus we could easily sightsee any part of the city. We walked a lot and enjoyed a great weekend. We highly recommend to visit La Boheme Cafe Prague :)
